Welcome to Homi, LLC. ("Homi," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Homi mobile application (the "App") and related services, including but not limited to our roommate matching service, housing marketplace, and third-party realtor facilitation (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our App and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App or Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Homi App and Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Homi is intended for individuals seeking housing and/or roommates. By using the App, you agree that you are using the Services for personal use only and not for any commercial purposes, unless explicitly authorized by us.
2. Account Registration and Security
a. Account Creation
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account and provide certain personal information. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update your information as necessary.
b. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
3. Using the Homi Services
a. Roommate Matching and Housing Marketplace
Our Services include technology to match you with potential roommates based on your preferences, as well as a marketplace where users can offer or search for housing. You are solely responsible for the interactions and agreements you make with other users.
b. Third-Party Realtors
In some cases, we may allow third-party realtors to offer assistance with finding housing. Any engagement with a third-party realtor is at your own risk.
4. User Conduct
By using the App and Services, you agree not to engage in any prohibited activities including:
- Impersonating any person or entity.
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users.
- Posting unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or objectionable content.
- Using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
